So I'm trying to find a good case to go with that dual socket 604 EATX motherboard but don't know of anything that isn't HUGE. I am looking for small but usable.
I'm also in search of good SATA cards that can be used with this system to be able to have better SATA support.
From now on I can say I will spend the extra money and get myself a workstation everytime.
A blog about me learning the joys of becoming a programmer. Along with that the joys of organizing and getting all my computer files in line. Included with this will be information I find while setting up my home server and other thoughts and ideas that come to mind. Along with this is looking for future ideas for Java programs that I might be able to start working on.

Changes
Well I'm officially going to be going into Network Specialist Degree, hopefully this Fall, and have decided at the moment to learn Server 2008 and Linux. The best part about this also is I've been trying to work out my own network at home to be able to get everything nice and organized at home finally.
First off, I've gotten a Dual Xeon 2.8Ghz with 4GB of memory, all for free that was going to be thrown out at my job. I right away made sure it would boot and wow did it boot well. Started to do some testing onto it and research but barely able to find anything about the board itself, E7505VB2. All I know is it has dual Socket 604 and AGP 8X. It is a fast board and I love it.
So in turn, my desktop now, which is a dual-core AMD, with 2GB of memory will becoming my HTPC with bluray playback and TV tuner.
The Dual Xeons will actually become my desktop, and cannot wait. Running XP it is a beast, using a 6800XT with 512MB ram is a great card with it, and it can play all my games that I love.
My home server will be a dual core atom microatx board that allows dual channel memory. Great little board with SATA 2 and other great features for a server.
Now the fun part is to get time.
